Hey guys! Here's an update with no footage, so go ahead and skip reading this one.
I just moved from Dayton to Mason, which is just outside of Cincinnati, so I'm not sure how much updating I can do for awhile.
But I had a thought. If anyone would like to help contribute footage/updates on the site, I might be able to work something out.
If you're interested, send me an email.
For everyone else, you might have to lurk on some other sites for awhile. Check out the friends page to go to the good ones.
This may be the last video update for awhile, so I wanted it to be a good one. Filmed by me and Crum.
Skate Perception is new and improved!
Now it's like Youtube for skateboarding videos, except the quality is 100% better! Not to mention you can upload full quality photos as well.
Big ups to Steve and Mike from Skate Perception for making it happen.
I'm pretty hyped on another Motta part!
Also, tomorrow the whole crew (besides me) is going to South Carolina, and those dudes down there are Straight Ballin'.
(from Digital Skate Tilt.)
Whew! It's been a long trip to.... well, nowhere. However, our entry for the Skate Perception's King of the Road contest in completed and ready for your viewing pleasure!
There's a big giant (126 MB) quicktime version, but you could always sacrifice a little bit of quality for the Google video version.

Joe Hook has gone off to Cali today. He's been ripping Ohio way too hard, so he's gonna go to the land of palm trees.
Not to mention he's been my best friend for the better part of 2 years.
See ya soon, Joe.
Went skating with Josh, who goes for everything without hesitating, and Lil' Black Eric, which isn't much of a fitting name because the dude can get gnarly.
The Skate Kitchen has finally released the video No Regrets on youtube. (most recent videos.)
Here's a little teaser for the King of the Road video contest entry for Skate Perception.
Full video coming very soon.
Chris Mathews has updated his wonderful blog, so go ahead and click on that button up there on the nav bar.
Some good footage is coming, don't fret!
Chris Haslam is amazing.
Nothing too serious. Super 8 is fun!
For those who didn't get to make it to the Hometown Heroes contest at the plaza (like me)...

(November 16th!)
Congrats, Joe.
(From 411vm.com)
Friday, one hundred thirty-something kids battled it out to be the SKATE champ at the plaza.
It came down to Crum and Joe, until Joe finally seeled the deal and won it.
There's a long, kind of boring video is anyone wants to watch it (or the youtube version).
And, if that wasn't enough, the very next day was the Red Bull Manny Mania contest.
Guess who won it? Yep, it's been a good weekend for ol' Joe.
We even got some street footage!
Also, you need to see the video part of the year.
Our wonderful ledge is already gone.
No news how or why, but it's all completely gone.
I even avoided putting things like "Tons of footage on this ledge to come!" on the site because I didn't want to have fate ruin that statement.
Needless to say, we're all pretty bummed.
Anyone else stoked?

We built a ledge.
Not just any ledge, but an AMAZING ledge.

Worked on it for two days... the first session was after I had to go to work, the 2nd one was rained out.
But I did manage to get some footage of Joe skating it, as well as some shots of us building it.
So watch it!
It's about to go down.
DYT won't be the same...
If this doesn't make you wanna skate, then I'm sorry.

This is the new up & comer.
Randomly found this spot driving around to get some food.
Joe got pretty gnarly... almost too gnarly.

After skating for two solid days and painting a flimsy fake skate box, we thought it would be a good idea to get a bunch of gnar tricks on it at 3 in the morning.
It didn't really work out that way, so no bangers in this video. You've been warned.
Also, let's give it up to people who can still have a funny attitude after hurting themselves. (From The Skate Kitchen)
Now that it's July, let's take a look back at all the stuff that's happened in June of 2007.
